The “LWK” series includes four different power levels to meet various requirements:

Model Heating Capacity (kW) SCOP Sound Emission (dB(A))
LuxProof® LWK 07 6.9 5.7 42
LuxProof® LWK 10 10.1 5.6 44
LuxProof® LWK 15 14.9 5.7 46
LuxProof® LWK 18 17.8 5.7 48

A standout feature of LuxProof® heat pumps is their versatile connection options for photovoltaic (PV) systems. By integrating with PV systems, you can use the generated solar power directly for the operation of the heat pump. There are several technical connection options:

  1. Self-consumption: The generated solar power is directly used by the heat pump, reducing the need for grid power and lowering operating costs.
  2. Battery Storage: Excess solar power can be stored in a battery system and used for operating the heat pump as needed, further enhancing energy independence.
  3. Intelligent Energy Management: Modern control systems like the Remote Control Gateway X Series enable the intelligent distribution of generated solar power, with the heat pump being prioritized for solar power use to maximize self-consumption and improve energy efficiency. These systems use energy management software to monitor and control the power flow, ensuring the heat pump operates whenever solar power is available and optimizing power usage.
  4. Integration Options:
    • AE Inverters: Connection via RS485 bus, using micro-inverters from AEconversion.
    • Fronius Inverters: Connection via Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP, optionally with Fronius Smart Meter or battery storage.
    • PV Sensor: Measures available solar radiation and calculates the current PV output for the heat pump.
    • Modbus TCP/RTU: Integration with building management systems for direct control of the heat pump.

Another significant advantage of LuxProof® heat pumps is the use of the eco-friendly refrigerant R290 (propane) instead of the conventional R410A. R290 has a lower global warming potential (GWP), thus contributing less to climate change. It is a natural refrigerant known for its high efficiency and environmental compatibility.

LuxProof® heat pumps are distinguished by exceptional efficiency and outstanding technology. Compared to other competitors, our heat pumps offer a higher SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance), meaning they operate more efficiently and generate more heat from less energy. For example, the SCOP value of our models ranges from 5.6 to 5.7, demonstrating excellent efficiency compared to the industry average.

Moreover, our devices are renowned for their quiet operation, making them ideal for use in noise-sensitive environments. With sound emissions ranging from 42 dB(A) to 48 dB(A), they are significantly quieter than many comparable products on the market.

The high-quality construction and use of durable materials ensure long lifespan and reliable operation. With innovative control systems and versatile connection options, LuxProof® heat pumps provide a flexible and future-proof solution for your heating system.

Another standout feature is the exterior color of the heat pumps. LuxProof® heat pumps are available in anthracite (RAL 7016), a timeless and modern color that blends harmoniously into any outdoor environment. The anthracite color offers not only aesthetic benefits but also practical advantages for outdoor use. It is less prone to visible dirt and discoloration and remains appealing over many years. Additionally, the neutral color adapts perfectly to various architectural styles, from classic to modern buildings, ensuring the heat pump integrates unobtrusively and stylishly into the overall appearance.

In the future, it may be possible to order the exterior casing of the heat pump, excluding the ventilation grille which will remain anthracite, in other RAL colors. This provides additional flexibility and customization options to better integrate the heat pump into the respective environment.

By investing in LuxProof® heat pumps of the “LWK” series, you choose a future-proof and eco-friendly heating solution that not only reduces CO2 emissions but also sustainably lowers energy costs.
